Erin Gropper, Esq., is an Associate Attorney at Hedayati Law Group, P.C., where she focuses on matrimonial and family law. She advocates for clients through some of their most challenging times. With a strong foundation in litigation, negotiation, and trial preparation, Erin is committed to pursuing favorable outcomes while providing compassionate guidance to her clients.

Erin earned her Juris Doctor from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where she developed her legal research and advocacy skills. During law school, she served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Edmund M. Dane and a judicial intern for the Honorable Jeffrey A. Goodstein in Nassau County Supreme Court. These experiences allowed her to gain firsthand knowledge of judicial decision-making, draft legal opinions, and assist pro se litigants through the court’s Navigator Program.

Before joining Hedayati Law Group, Erin worked as an associate attorney at another Nassau matrimonial law firm, where she handled complex divorce and family law matters. She has experience representing clients in Supreme Court and Family Court proceedings, drafting legal documents such as motions, petitions, stipulations of settlement, and separation agreements. She also managed discovery, negotiated settlements, and prepared cases for trial alongside senior attorneys. Her ability to navigate high-stakes legal disputes with professionalism and diligence has earned her a reputation for being a strong advocate for her clients.

Erin’s background also includes work in forensic psychology, where she assisted in the preparation of forensic custody evaluations and parenting coordination cases. This unique experience provides her with a deeper understanding of the psychological aspects of family law disputes, particularly in custody and parenting time matters.

Admitted to the New York State Bar, Erin is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate the legal complexities of divorce, child custody, and support matters. She combines legal knowledge and acumen with a client-centered approach, so that every client receives personalized attention and strategic representation.

In addition to her legal practice, Erin stays informed on the latest developments in family law and continuously sharpens her litigation and negotiation skills to better serve her clients.
