Throughout his career, Mr. Tannenbaum has held notable positions, including his partnership at Tannenbaum & Tannenbaum alongside his father, and serving as a Law Guardian in the Nassau County Family Court and an Arbitrator in the Queens County Civil Court. His career trajectory included an influential period as of counsel to renowned criminal defense attorney Barry Slotnick, where he honed his skills in complex litigation.

In 1990, Mr. Tannenbaum established his own firm in Manhattan, focusing on commercial and matrimonial law, which led to a prestigious association with celebrity matrimonial attorney Raoul Lionel Felder. Returning to Long Island in 2003, he became a key member of the firm Gassman, Baiamonte, Betts & Tannenbaum, P.C., before opening his own practice in 2011 to serve the Long Island and Manhattan communities.
